Tenor Saxophonist – The Jazzaar Festival Big Band

Maurice Storrer (*1998, Schaffhausen, CH) is a young Swiss saxophonist and composer. In 2022 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in Lucerne with honors and took lessons with Nat Su, among others. Storrer began his Performance Master in Lucerne in September 2022 with John Voirol and Michael Arbenz.

As a bandleader and composer, he founded the Maurice Storrer Quartet in 2021 and has already played with his band at the Schaffhausen Jazz Festival. Besides his main project, he is involved in various other projects (HILKA/Meraki Sextet/St. SBB-B).

Maurice Storrer has already played with important musicians of the jazz scene, among others with Louis Cole / Genevive Artadi / Marius Neset / Anton Eger / Reinier Baas / Jean-Paul Brodbeck / Nils Wogram.
