Lino is a trumpeter from Lenzburg. He first participated with the Swiss Youth Jazz Orchestra in the Jazzaar Festival project “Transatlantic Rhapsody” in 2018 and consecutively from 2019 through 2022. This time he’s selected to work in the Funk-Jazz Extravaganza production at Jazzaar.

He is currently attending the ETH in Zürich and also engages with the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Lino also plays the marching drum in the drum corps Lenzburg. He has already been on the podium four times at Central Swiss and Swiss Championships and once already in first place. He listens to Snarky Puppy, Freddie Hubbard, Clifford Brown, and Miles Davis.

Lino is very interested in jazz trumpet and in learning jazz harmony and hopes to benefit much by participating at Jazzaar once again as he did in the past.
