Clarinet – The Jazzaar Festival Big Band

I am Julia Morsten, and have been playing the clarinet for a number of years now. I’m currently in my first year studying classical music at Zürich Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) with Matthias Müller. I am also pursuing my studies on piano playing and continuing my saxophone proficiency. I am very interested in historical instruments and have tried my hand at a few selected ones. Although classical music is my home, I always find myself playing jazz. This is my third time participating at Jazzaar, and I am looking forward to being a part of this journey again and learning from my  role models and peers here.
